About This Place

Robke's Northport is a standout Italian restaurant nestled in the heart of Northport, NY, delivering an authentic and warmly inviting dining experience that feels like stepping into a lively Italian family gathering. Known for its convivial atmosphere and exquisite menu, this local gem has garnered a loyal following eager to indulge in its hearty and thoughtfully crafted dishes.

The cuisine here is quintessentially Italian with a modern twist, expertly blending tradition and creativity. Signature dishes such as the Bronx Chicken Cutlet Parmigiana showcase perfectly breaded and fried chicken smothered in rich tomato sauce and melty cheese, while the Pork Chop Martini offers a flavor-packed, tender experience that one customer rated "10+." If seafood is your preference, the Red Snapper Al Forno, baked in virgin olive oil with bright cherry tomatoes, and the Wild Salmon Piccata, enriched with lemon, capers, and artichokes, are both sublime choices that deliver layers of fresh, vibrant Mediterranean flavors.

For pasta lovers, Robke’s impresses with classics like the Bucatini Amatriciana, bursting with sweet cherry tomatoes, savory bacon, prosciutto, and sharp Pecorino, or the intriguingly named Pappardelle Segreta, a secret veal sauce promising deep, comforting richness. The Rigatoni Vodka with prosciutto and the flavorful Fried Chicken Cutlet paired with pasta provide a delightful balance between indulgence and heartfelt home cooking.

Guests rave about the freshly prepared appetizers including the Roman Artichoke Oreganata, the tempting Baked Clams, and crispy Fried Calamari that perfectly set the stage for memorable meals to come. And don't miss dessert—you’ll want to savor the vibrant Rainbow Cookie Cheesecake or the decadently smooth Chocolate Cheesecake, both perfect sweet notes to finish an exceptional dining adventure.

Beyond the food, the atmosphere at Robke’s is something to cherish. Inside, tables sit close enough to foster a cozy, communal vibe, echoing the intimacy of a genuine Italian family gathering. The bar offers a spirited hub, while the clever design featuring garage-style doors that open onto the street lets diners bask in fresh air and sunshine, creating an airy indoor-outdoor feel that’s especially inviting in warmer months. The staff are notably warm and attentive, making guests feel like lifelong friends — not just customers. Several reviewers emphasize how the team’s memorization of guests and their heartwarming service elevate the entire experience.

Robke’s offers generous portions at remarkable value, especially during their lunch specials, which many locals swear by. The only practical note to remember is that takeout is cash-only, but as customers attest, the quality and portion sizes make it well worth the try.

Whether you’re seeking a relaxed lunch or a festive evening with loved ones, Robke's Northport invites you to savor the true spirit of Italian hospitality paired with rich, delectable dishes that leave a lasting impression. Wow! This is a hidden gem In the town of Northport. Locals only. The lunch specials are the star ⭐. Large portions and affordable. Cash only for takeout , and totally worth it. The tables inside are close together and the seating is a little tight. There is a bar inside. The front walls open up with garage door openers so you feel like you’re sitting outside. There is also outdoor seating available. Nice staff. Parking is a little tight. Nice staff. Always busy. Give this place to try if you’re in the area.

I think the best way to describe this place would be an Italian Family Get together! The staff is so impressive and make you feel like family! Most restaurants need to take lessons from these guys/gals. Nick impressed us by not even writing our names down just memorized who came in first and sits us in order! So impressive!! Our awesome waiter Matty who had us cracking up everytime! We started with a mule and espresso martini. Can we talk about their espresso martini?! Perfectly shaken!!!! Perfect foam! Delish! Ordered the Pork Chop Martini and I can’t say enough about this meal!! Incredible!! We love it here and try and go for dinner or a cocktail atleast once a week and we live 45 mins away! Louie is so nice and great guy! We love them all! Birdies is just as great (their sister company right down the road).

The food is WONDERFUL. The service is WONDERFUL. I am very happy with my experience here. A dear friend of mine visits often and has her office Christmas party here annually and— I can see why. Also, MAX makes the experience even more beautiful and inviting. He lights up the room and it feels like everyone is in his living room enjoying a meal together. I ordered the Baked Filet and it was very fresh. The cost for the experience is.. beyond. For this entire experience was under $50.

I'm a foodie... Everything looked amazing but I'm really glad I got the pork chop martini. 10+ Can't wait until I go back. The staff was so friendly and made me feel like I'm a regular and it was my first time there. Check this place out.

Came here one night with my family to see what all the hype was about since I’ve seen so much on social media about this place. The food did not disappoint. It was very good, We have to want to go to this type of place, very noisy and tight seating, but we put as many people as they can in here they keep the business going, which is fair and entirely up to them. We got the cappellini balls for an appetizer and they were good, but there were only two of them which for that price they should’ve given you a few more. It’s basically just spaghetti with some peas and cheese dried up in a ball. As far as meals go, we got special pork chop dish, which was very good. Two pork chops, cherry peppers, and some Italian potatoes, which are kind of like potato chips, but better. My daughter got the chicken Parm with the penne vodka which she liked. We also ordered the chicken and sausage scapariello And the pasta, Mia, which was penne with grilled chicken peas and some prosciutto sauce, which was also very good. The dinner portions were a great size and very good. I ranked the food as a four star because five stars should be left for some of the places that are really in the next level, but this is very high-quality food for the price and if you’re up for somewhat noisy atmosphere, I’m not sure how crazy it is during the week but we were there on a Sunday for dinner an early dinner and it was tough to communicate with each other. Great option if you’re in the area not sure if I would travel 45 minutes to go there especially on Long Island, but definitely very good place and lived up to the hype.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An absolute gem in Northport! From the moment we walked into Robke’s, the vibe was perfect — great music, energy, and warmth all around. Michael and Michelle took incredible care of us — professional, friendly, and on top of every detail. The portions were generous, the flavors were spot on, and every dish had that perfect balance of comfort and creativity. As a fellow restaurateur, I can honestly say this place nails it across the board — food, service, and atmosphere. To top it all off, we had the pleasure of meeting Lou, the owner, whose passion for hospitality shines through every aspect of the experience. Five stars all the way — thanks Robke’s for a phenomenal night!
